Agan and Kuralarasi - Kural to everyone - are cousins, best friends, and partners in Surprise Dude, an event-planning crew that stages surprises for weddings, anniversaries and proposals. They have been part of each other's lives for as long as either can remember.

Then Kural confesses her love. Agan, startled, turns her down - rudely - and she leaves for Bangalore. An accident, a realisation, and suddenly Agan is the one trying to plan the biggest surprise of his life: winning her back.

What follows is the Dude way: a minister father with a buried secret, a dim-witted classmate named Paari, a fake wedding, a real escape plan, and a six-fingered baby who ends up changing everything. It's a rom-com that keeps pulling the rug - funny, loud, and sneakily emotional.

* Okay, tiny spoilers. The full madness is on Netflix.
